Around 8am on Wednesday the 6th of April 2022, The Scottish Libertarian Party's Deputy Leader, Stef Johnstone, suffered a stroke.
Her condition is currently stable and she is now at home and resting with her family.
She would like to pass on her gratitude to all the Scottish Libertarian Party members for all their support and love given to her over the years whilst she was in the position of Deputy Leader, but will not be continuing with the role. The Constitutional Committee has been informed and she will see out her time left as Deputy Leader on sick leave.
Our children and I would like to thank everyone for their well wishes while we concentrate on helping Stef with the long recovery process she is now facing.
