First of all, thank you so much to everyone who voted for me. The campaign has been enjoyable and the interaction with the other candidates was, as always, very pleasant and friendly in our exchanges.
I have no doubt that Jayne Sangster will do her best but rest assured I will be keeping an eye on the goings on and make sure libertarians of East Ayrshire will one day be represented formally.
The result itself was a personal best for me. At 2.4% of the vote it is up there with some of the best libertarian results in Scotland's history. This gives me good ground to work with in order to reach out to anyone who has yet to discover they might be a libertarian themselves, even if they don't yet know it. I will keep searching for you.
