They say a week is a long time in politics...

The reality is that in a tiny little council by election that very few people are aware of, it really doesn't matter that much. I don't expect to be elected and I don't expect anything to change.
In light of that, for those who do want to know a bit more about my proposals for the council, here is a few pointers...
The roads in East Ayrshire are an absolute state! Fix the damn potholes and keep the markings freshly painted from time to time. It's not all that hard to do and I get fed up with people asking "What about the roads?" every time I mention "Tax is theft."
£20,000 for a few daffodils beside the bus station is a disgusting use of our money!
Planning permission should be far easier to process than it is and far cheaper. It's just a power grab and an excuse to tax you more because you want to do something nice and simple with your home.
Licences for many things shouldn't even exist. If you have a window and someone wants to wash them then that should be between you and the cleaner - not some nosey government nobody.
My proposal is this:
Vote me in and I'll make sure to keep as many folk out of your way, and out of your pocket, as I possibly can.
